The agistment facilities at Sutton Farm Equestrian Centre are unique. We take only a small number of agisters and offer three full service options. Designed to be the perfect solution for busy working riders we offer full service care. It really is perfect to finish your day and be able to tack up, ride and wash down, under lights and experience these world class equine facilities. We offer three full-service agistment options at Sutton Farm. Night stabling includes turnout into a day yard with a three-sided shelter, while our large private paddocks provide generous space with three-sided shelters for individual horses. For those who prefer company, we also provide larger shared paddocks suitable for two horses. All paddocks are roomy, regularly rotated and picked, and constructed with post-and-rail fencing and equine mesh—many also feature electric fence stand-offs. Each paddock has its own water supply (either automatic troughs or cement troughs) and access to shade trees or covered shelters (three-sided, walk-in/walk-out). We offer a biscuit of hay to all horses both morning and evening as well as hard feed twice per day. We use and recommend "Hygain horse feeds".
Our stunning, historic stables house up to 22 horses, as featured on the iconic film, Phar Lap. Well-lit, secure with 24hr CCTV and on-site staff, our cosy breezeway is adjacent to our magnificent indoor arena, kitchen and toilet facilities.
We have a small number of private one and two horse paddocks located close to arenas, stables and all facilities. Private Paddocks have walk in walk out shelters, all horses have two biscuits of hay morning and night and two hard feeds per day. All horses are checked twice daily and have morning and rug changes to weather conditions. All agistees enjoy full use of all arenas & facilities at Sutton Farm. We have float parking, tack room, rug room and use of the kitchen and full amenities including showers.
We also offer overnight holiday and respite care for those passing through or for owners who want to ensure their horse is taken care of while they are away on holidays. So, if it’s a night a week or a month, Sutton Farm Equestrian Centre is happy to accommodate your horse for a short stay too. Overnight Stable Accommodation $75 per night (Includes bedding, water and post clean out). Overnight Day Yards $35 per night. Camping options for humans available from $30 per night.
